• Land Rover DISCOVERY The Discovery (4wd of the year) is the ultimate in off road comfort and performance for those seeking a later model with comfort features. Seats 5, automatic transmission with high and low range constant 4wd and diff lock, air conditioning, cd player, electric windows. Damage liability $4,500 non reducable.

• Toyota Land Cruiser seats 6, power steering, air conditioned, heavy duty roof rack, runs on petrol and lpg gas (half the price of diesel and petrol). Ideal for long camping hires.

• Jackaroo 4 door Seats 5 people 4 door long w/base, Great for 2 - 3 day trips, very comfortable and easy to drive.

• Suzuki open top seats 4, fun open top 4x4 suitable for 1 day hires or when staying in accomadation NOT suitable for camping, as car cannot be secured from scavenging dingos as required by national parks. Perfect for day trips to coloured sands, double island point (Surfing ,whale watching, spectacular post card type views, light house, fishing) Cherry venture ship wreck and through Cooloola national park to see magic rainforest, Poona lake (just like Basin Lake on Fraser Island).

Conditions * for 4wd's (excluding Discovery). All 4 wheel drive cars are approved for travel to Fraser Island but DO NOT include the cost of the permit from National Parks or ferry ticket. These can be prearrange these for you at cost.

All 4wd's are full of fuel on delivery and are require to be returned the same.

All 4wd hire rates are for Calendar days not 24 hr days ( i.e a 4wd picked up 10.am and returned at 10.am the following day is a 2 day hire.

4wd's can be picked up from 7.00 am and must be returned by 5.00 pm (same time as last ferry) on the last day of hire.

Damage Liability to all off road hire 4wds is $4000. This can be reduced by $1000 for each $10 paid, i.e $3000 =$10 (can not be reduced below $1000 per day)

Conditions # The DISCOVERY has controled departure and return times. These times are in line with the low tide times. The damage liability to the discovery can not be reduced.
